One Year In. Be Yourself, Or Get The F**k Out.
So apparently, I’ve been kicking around this digital landscape for a full year now. 365 days. Doesn't feel like it, but the calendar doesn't lie.
People get all sentimental about these rezz day anniversaries, but for me, it’s just a good time to take a shot, look back, and figure out what I’ve actually learned from all the chaos.
I came here like a lot of people probably do, with some idea of who I should be, carrying baggage from the real world.
But the biggest lesson this first year has hammered home is that the masks we wear out there are heavy as hell, and SL is the one place you can finally take them off. The real freedom here isn't about flying or teleporting; it's about being unapologetically, brutally yourself.
The moment I stopped giving a shit about what anyone thought and just started building the big, sexy motherfucker I wanted to be was the moment this whole thing clicked.
That's the first and most important lesson: Being me is being free. That's the whole game.
The second lesson is that your vibe attracts your tribe and, more importantly, repels the rest. This isn't some Kumbaya, "let's all be friends" bullshit.
Most people are just passing through. But the few who get it? The ones who see your brand of crazy and raise you theirs? Those are the only ones who matter. I’ve learned not to waste a single second on anyone who doesn't vibe with my frequency.
And finally, the grind is the art. From spending hours in the shape editor to hunting down the perfect pair of boots at some godforsaken event at 3 AM, that's the point. (Just kidding, I love you PHEDORA<3)
Crafting a look, building a presence, making something that is undeniably you... that's the magic.
It’s not just about shopping or looking good; it's about the satisfaction of a perfectly executed vision.
So, what's the plan for year two?
More of the same. More unfiltered takes, more killer looks, more unapologetic self-expression. I figured out the formula, and nothing is changing about that. I'm here to do what I do, and if you're here for it, then welcome. If not, the door's right there.
Here's to another year of causing trouble.
